Terms of Service

Last updated: May 12, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of STRATOSCAN (the “Service”), provided by BlockApps Inc. (“BlockApps,” “we”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

STRATOSCAN is a hosted block explorer for the STRATO blockchain network. It surfaces public, on-chain information (blocks, transactions, addresses, contracts, events, tokens) and provides tools for interacting with smart contracts deployed on the network.

We provide the Service free of charge and without warranties. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to do so.

3. Accounts and authentication

Certain features of the Service (e.g. submitting contract write transactions) require you to sign in with a Keycloak account provisioned by BlockApps. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify BlockApps promptly of any unauthorised use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, the STRATO node, or any system or network connected to them.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by attempting to bypass rate limits, by submitting requests intended to overload our infrastructure, or by reverse-engineering security controls.
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service at a rate exceeding what we publish in our rate-limit policy.
  • Submit transactions that are knowingly fraudulent, infringe intellectual property, or constitute market manipulation.

5. On-chain transactions

When you initiate a contract write through the Service, your transaction is signed by a STRATO node (operated by BlockApps) on your behalf, using a key associated with your authenticated account. Once a transaction is included in a block, it is part of the public blockchain and cannot be reversed. You are solely responsible for the consequences of transactions you initiate, including the accuracy of the parameters you supply.

BlockApps is not a broker, custodian, exchange, or financial institution. We do not provide investment, legal, or tax advice. Tokens displayed by the Service are not endorsements.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its source code, design, and trademarks, is owned by BlockApps and is protected by intellectual property laws. On-chain data displayed by the Service is public and not subject to these IP restrictions; you remain free to use blockchain data as permitted by the underlying network.

7. Third-party content and services

The Service may link to or integrate with third parties (e.g. documentation sites, social-media accounts, analytics providers). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLOCKAPPS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF DATA. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLOCKAPPS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED US $100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold BlockApps harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including a good-faith belief that you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

12. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version; material changes will be indicated by the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
